In March 2007, colleagues in Children's Health Services and Children's Services met for the first in a programme of 4 seminars. The aim of the programme is to encourage more effective ways for colleagues to work together to improve outcomes for children, young people and families with the Extended Services model.

Sponsored by the Strategic Health Authority, Government Office for London and the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA), four parallel seminars launched the programme, during the final weeks of London Children's Services Month in March 2007.

For this and each future seminar, there will be 4 parallel events to accommodate the number of colleagues working across London within a true seminar format.
