IYSS: Multi-Agency Working

The objectives of the first event were for delegates:

(1) To familiarise themsleves with tools and techniques to develop:

  • An effective multi-agency structure to deal with the needs of young people (including the vulnerable);
  • A clear role for schools and colleges in the structure of services for young people (including the vulnerable);
  • A structure for reaching those outside the schools system;
  • A workforce that is supported to work flexibly in delivering IYSS/TYS.

(2) Network with colleagues to identify & share good practice on which to build, including the pathfinder experiences. 

The objectives for the second event were for delegates to:

  • To experience some tools and techniques to use back in  Local Areas to support the development of highly effective multi agency teamworking
  • Network with colleagues to identify & share good practice on which to build including pathfinder experience
