National CAMHS Support Service

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) promote the mental health and psychological wellbeing of children and young people,  through assessment, services, treatment and support for children, young pepple and their families.

The CAMHS programme in CSIP works with the Strategic Health Authority, Frontline Staff, CAMHS Clinicians, Adult Mental Health Providers, CAMHS Partnerships, NHS Trusts, LAs, Voluntary Organisations, User Groups, DH/ DCFS Policy colleagues.

The CAMHS Regional Development workes support the implementation of the Children's National Service Framework and the achievement of the PSA target for CAMHS.  London Regional Development Workers are Graeme Jeffs, Cathy James, Richard Moore and Kathryn Pugh, providing support to CAMHS partnerships to achieve comprehensive CAMHS.
